  • Created by renown comic book artist, Jerry Robinson, the cover art of “The Harlequin’s Hoax!” epitomizes the simple, yet elegant stylization found behind action-adventure periodicals in the 1930s and 40s.
  • Now referred to as the Silver Age of comics, Jerry Robinson brought some of the most innovative artwork to the genre while working with comic book icons such as Jerry Siegel, Joe Shuster, Bill Finger, Jack Kirby, Fred Ray and Mort Meskin.
  • Among his book cover art, Robinson is also credited with co-creation of Robin, Alfred, The Joker and The Penguin for the Batman detective series.
  • In 1961 he began a new career, creating the political/social satire “still life” and later “Life with Robinson,” syndicated daily for 34 years. His strip ”Flubs & Fluffs” ran in the Sunday New York News for over two decades.
  • In 1978, Robinson began The Cartoonists & Writers Syndicate/Cartoon Arts International, which represents comic book artists for the fair compensation of their work.
  • Recently, Robinson has been hired by DC Comics as a Creative Consultant. He is the recipient of the National Cartoonists Society award, as well as the Milton Caniff Lifetime Achievement Award, in addition to being inducted in the 2004 Comic Book Hall Of Fame.
  • Each print in the edition of 250 is hand signed by Jerry Robinson.
