Hector Martinez

Hector Martinez has had a wide-range of experience in the art world. An illustrator by trade, his talents have seen him as a background artist for “Batman” and “Superman” the animated series, for which he won an Emmy. Other Emmy-award winning work for Martinez can be seen in “Where On Earth is Carmen San Diego,” and “Roman City.” Martinez also won the Peabody award for “Just Say Noel: An Edith Ann Christmas.” Holding a BFA degree in illustration from the Art Center College of Design, Martinez has worked with Warner Bros., DreamWorks Sony, MCA-Universal, and Nickelodeon. Hector has also been involved in theme park presentation and TV commercials. He has collaborated with Ruth Clampett for over fourteen years at Bob Clampett Animation Art,
Warner Bros. Studio Stores, and now Clampett Studio Collections, creating the vast majority of backgrounds for all of the limited editions that have been produced.
